Wente -- This Sunday!! Are you ready??

Posted by: Jim_Hughes on 07/04/2008 11:26 AM
WENTE ON SUNDAY!: Start packing NOW and be ready to go on 6 July no later than 8:30am in the OSLC Fellowship Hall (downhill) parking lot. We’ll take our unit photo at 8:45am, so DON’T BE LATE and PLEASE wear the correct uniform combination (dress uniform, no sash, shorts with knee socks, BOOTS, and red hat).

Please LEAVE ALL ELECTRONIC ITEMS AT HOME – NO iPods, cell phones, or video games, not even for the ride up or back – if discovered these items will be confiscated and you’ll be taken to task at your next Board of Review. You’re also advised to bring a WATCH and a TARP in addition to the items listed on your Wente checklist.

As for money, it’s been suggested that $40 is a sufficient amount to bring for spending during the week (although you might want to bring more or less depending on your own personal spending habits and/or the merit badges you choose have additional fees associated with them) PLUS you might also bring a few additional dollars for lunch at Burger King on the way up to Wente and In-N-Out on the way home, although you may certainly choose to bring your own sack lunch.

We’ll be joined by two prospective Scouts, Cristofer Holobetz from T57 in Orinda (and his mom, Helen), and Bryce Bartolo from T204 (brother of our own Christian B). PLEASE be on your best behavior and welcome these two gentlemen (AND Mrs Holobetz) as our honorary guests!
